1.2 Shopify Store Data

When you install one of our Shopify apps, we access certain data from your Shopify store to provide the app's functionality. For Order Coordinates & Map Links, this includes:

• Customer shipping addresses from orders (used to generate GPS coordinates and map links)
• Order metadata (order ID, order number) necessary to display information in the app

We do not permanently store customer addresses or personal information on our servers. Address data is processed in real-time to generate coordinates and map links and is not retained after the request is complete.

1.3 Usage and Technical Data

Like most web services, we may automatically collect:

• Log data (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, time of visit)
• Aggregate usage statistics about app feature usage
• Error and crash reports to help us improve the Services

To convert shipping addresses into GPS coordinates, we use geocoding APIs (such as Google Geocoding API). Addresses are transmitted to these services for the sole purpose of coordinate generation. We retain contact form submissions and support communications for as long as necessary to provide support and improve our services, typically no longer than 2 years.

We do not retain customer shipping addresses or order data from your Shopify store beyond the immediate request lifecycle. Once a map link or coordinate is generated and returned to your admin, no address data is stored on our systems.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our apps are distributed through the Shopify App Store. When you install an app via Shopify, Shopify's own terms and privacy policy also apply. We encourage you to review Shopify's Privacy Policy.

Our website (sawybits.com) may use minimal cookies necessary for the site to function properly. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. Our Shopify apps do not use cookies on your store's storefront.
