Absolutely not. Order Coordinates & Map Links is designed for merchants, not developers. There's no code to write, no APIs to configure, and no technical knowledge required. Install it and it just works.
The app works with all Shopify plans — Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Shopify Plus. There are no plan restrictions.
The app generates direct links to Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze. Clicking any link will open the selected map app on mobile or the browser version on desktop, with the customer's address pre-loaded as the destination.
Coordinates are generated using address geocoding — the same technology used by Google Maps and other major navigation apps. Accuracy depends on the completeness of the address provided by the customer. Full addresses with street number, street name, city, and postal code will produce the most accurate results.
Yes. The app includes a bulk export feature that lets you download all order coordinates as a CSV file. This is useful for route planning, importing into logistics software, or fleet management tools.
Yes. The app supports international addresses from all countries where Shopify operates. Geocoding accuracy may vary by region — countries with well-structured address systems will have the highest accuracy.
After installation, open any order in your Shopify admin. You'll find the SawyBits panel displaying the customer's coordinates and map links directly within the order page, without having to leave your admin.
No. We process addresses in real-time to generate coordinates and map links, but we do not store, log, or retain any customer data on our servers. All data stays within your Shopify store. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes. Because we do not store any personal customer data on our servers, and all processing is done in real-time within the Shopify ecosystem, the app is designed with privacy and GDPR compliance in mind. We respond to all merchant data deletion requests promptly.
Billing is handled entirely through Shopify's standard billing system. Any charges will appear on your Shopify invoice. You can manage or cancel your subscription directly from your Shopify admin under Apps & Sales Channels.
You can cancel at any time by going to your Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → selecting the app → and clicking Delete app. You won't be charged after cancellation.
